Tooth Whitening Instructions

Polar Night 10% Carbamide Peroxide gentle bleaching for sensitive teeth

1 x 2hrs per day to overnight
Placement Procedure:
1. Brush and floss. Remove the cap and insert an application tip by twisting it securely onto
the syringe.
2. Place a small drop of gel into each compartment of the tray for the teeth undergoing
treatment.
3. Seat the tray with the gel around the teeth.
4. Wipe away excess gel in the mouth with a tissue or dry toothbrush.
5. After treatment, remove tray. Rinse tray and mouth with lukewarm water.
6. Gently brush teeth and apply a thin layer of toothpaste, do not rinse.
Note:
Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst wearing the trays. Do not smoke immediately after treatment-
wait for at least 2 hours. Foods and drinks containing strong colours should be avoided for at least
48 hours or consumed in moderation. Avoid highly acidic drinks (i.e. orange juice and cola) during
the whitening treatment. Use gel at room temperature.
Patients with sensitivity will require a day or two break between treatments. Shortening the time
wearing the trays is also recommended.

<40% wt Additives
30% wt Glycerol
20% wt Water
0.1% wt Flavour

1 x 45 minutes to 1hr per day

  3. Seat the tray with the gel around the teeth.
  4. Wipe away excess gel in the mouth with a tissue or dry toothbrush.
  5. After treatment, remove tray. Rinse tray and mouth with lukewarm water.
  6. Gently brush teeth and apply a thin layer of toothpaste, do not rinse.
