Vivian Nguyen

Vivian completed a Bachelors of medical Science at the University of Canberra in 2011. She then attended Charles Sturt University and completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2018.

She was the recipient of The Dean’s List Award while at Charles Sturt University.

During her training in Wagga Wagga Vivian worked at the Rural Referral Hospital and the university dental clinic.

Vivian is committed to caring for others. In 2018 she spent a week at the Solar Smiles Dental Charity in Temor-Leste. As part of this experience she leaned the necessary Tetum words to be able to speak effectively to her patients. She provided oral hygiene information to the patients as well as limited dental treatment.

Vivian has returned to Canberra Dental Care in August 2024 after 18 months away. She returns as both a hygienist and dental therapist.

A dental therapist can perform some of the routine treatments that are also provided by the dentists. Vivian is available for fissure sealants, some extractions and simple fillings.
