Reopened!
As a result of the road map out of COVID announced today we are able to resume our usual operating days and hours.
Are dentists opening during lockdown?
Yes. Effective of Tuesday 5 October we are able to perform all treatments. This means that we are able to open our hygiene department again.
Are we still treating emergencies?
Yes. Emergency appointments are always available with our dentists. These can be booked on line or by phoning our reception staff during business hours.
My appointment was cancelled/moved – what should I do?
If your appointment was cancelled or moved please get in touch. Due to the sudden easing of restrictions for dental treatment we have availability sooner. You can make an appointment on line or by phoning our reception staff. We have hygiene appointments available from next week.
Why aren’t we answering this phone this week (27 September – 1 October)?
The restrictions do not change until 1 October. This week we are only open on Wednesday 29 September and for emergencies only. If you want to make an appointment for next week, please use our on line booking facilities or phone on Wednesday.
Is there anything you should do differently?
Yes. We still need patients to practice common sense when attending for their appointments. Please ensure that you are in good health before attending your appointment. We remind you that if you have any of symptoms such as a fever, sore throat, breathlessness, cough or fatigue please contact us to reschedule your appointment. This also includes if you have been in contact with a suspected case of COVID-19.
The wearing of masks is compulsory while attending Canberra Dental Care. The dentist will advise you when you can remove your mask.
We require all patients to check in via the CBR app. Sanitiser is available and required when you enter the practice. When you enter the surgery we have additional procedures in place such as mouthwash and further hand sanitiser.
