COVID-19 Update #3
Restrictions have been eased on dental treatment. We have moved down from Level 3 to Level 2.
This means we are able to treat more routine dental issues and offer a wider range of services. Dr Jowitt and Dr Muir are able to see those patients that were waiting for treatments such as Crowns and fillings. Our reception staff have been busy contacting those patients to let them know we are now able to continue their treatment. If you haven’t heard from us please give us a call to check about your appointment.
Unfortunately because of the items that remain restricted, we have decided to keep our hygiene department closed. There is some limited scope for them to work with but it is not the usual range. We feel it is better to wait until we are able to offer those services to the high standard we are used to.
As we are now able to offer more services we have opened up another day. Dr Jowitt and Dr Muir are now available on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Safely Measures
What hasn’t changed are all the additional precautions we put in place when we moved to level 3 restrictions. In addition to our usual high standard of hygiene and sterilisation we have added more to our regime. We ask that, unless required, you attend alone and that you sterilise your hands. We will provide you with a mouthwash prior to your treatment. And while we are pleased to see you, we won’t be shaking your hand or coming too close.
As this is an evolving situation we will update when further information comes to hand.
We remind you that if you have any of symptoms such as a fever, sore throat, breathlessness, cough or fatigue please contact us to reschedule your appointment. This also includes if you have been in contact with a suspected case of COVID-19. It is vital that we stop the spread and ask you to take your part in this seriously.
Booking an appointment
Our reception staff are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
You are still able to make booking via our on line service. Please tell us the nature of the problem in the relevant field, the more detail the better. This helps us to know what the issue is, as there are still some restrictions we need to ensure we can provide the best treatment to you.
Thank you to all our valuable patients for their understanding through this difficult and uncertain time. Our thoughts are will you and your family.
Please stay healthy and WASH YOUR HANDS!
