Health update #2
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and the implications for us, our staff and our patients. Canberra Dental Care is open to patients. We are taking measures to conserve our remaining mask supply to ensure we can keep treatment patients. We are proactively ensuing that patients who are unwell with any of the symptoms of COVID-19 are postponed until they have quarantined themselves for 14 days.
The Australian Dental Association has received advice that the Federal Health Minister’s Office has confirmed that essential health services, including dental, will continue to operate as normal. Australia has some of the highest hygiene standards and infection controls in the world. As a matter of course we sterilise our treatment rooms between patients to a high standard.
We continue to have gloves and masks to protect our staff and patients from transmission of any infections disease.
If you are unsure or just want to speak to our reception staff, please call during our business hours. Alternatively you can make an appointment via our on line services. You are able to provide us with details in the comments section if you feel we need to know more.
While we are doing everyone we can to create a safe environment we do need your help. If you are unwell please phone to reschedule your appointment. We also ask that you practice good hand hygiene and cough etiquette.
